A refined and harmonious mobile to hang, bringing life to the ceilings of a classic or modern interior with an airy spirit, at the crossroads of art, technology, and upcycling. This artwork is composed of 44 pieces made from recycled carbon fibers, a noble material that was used to build the spectacular AC75 Orient Express Racing Team boat, competing in the America's Cup.
The carbon elements are inspired by the ergonomic design of the racing boat, and their organic lines embody a timeless modernity. They are connected by brass rods, whose metallic sheen contrasts with the black texture of the carbon. The mobile's impressive 1.5-meter span is fluid and striking, making it a perfect fit for personal living spaces or public environments.
Even the slightest breath of air brings the mobile to life, with the elements swirling like the boat on ocean waves. Like the boat that defies the power of the seas, the mobile is always in motion, balancing between equilibrium and imbalance. Gentle, soothing sounds emerge when the carbon pieces touch in this airy dance.
Each mobile is entirely handcrafted by Parisian artist Helène Millot for JOLAN, with careful attention to preserving artisanal craftsmanship. Each carbon piece is unique, due to its origin and texture, giving the mobile an exclusive, personal signature.
